Facilities

This facility was established in early 2016 within the Princess Alexandra Hospital prescient in Woolloongabba.

Princess Alexandra Hospital is one of three tertiary level facilities in Queensland, providing care in all major adult specialties, with the exception of obstetrics. It is one of Australia’s leading academic and research health centres.

Cyclotek has renovated and extended building 39 within the hospital prescient to provide for our third PET Radiopharmaceutical facility. This facility has the manufacturing and logistic capability to supply PET/CT centres throughout Queensland together with Northern Territory and sites into New South Wales and Auckland NZ.

Installation of the cyclotron and support infrastructure commenced in October 2015 with Queensland Heath regulatory approval provided in April 2016 and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) GMP approval provided in May 2016. The facility supplied FDG to customers on 30th May 2016.
